Sugar Bowl is the closest resort to Sacramento and the Bay Area. We get around 500 inches of snow a year here, which, for all of you flatlanders, is quite a lot. In the 2016-17 season, we got 795 inches of snow, the second most in the USA that year! Besides all of our 98 trails and 3000+ acres of skiable terrain, we have two quite posh hotels, a historic lodge, and four iconic peaks, with nine lifts, two magic carpets, and a gondola.
